WARNING !!

9.10.2010

I apologize to all my clients for having to post this but I needed to take every precaution to protect women who were being who were being scammed by someone representing themselves as Collins Photography.  Details below...

Today we were made aware of individuals who were calling women across the country and internationally using our website as their own and claiming to be from Collins Photography.  They told them we had went international and were offering a $3000 modeling job.  THIS IS NOT OUR STUDIO.   It is a SCAM.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be safe, do not give or take money from them and discontinue all talks with these individuals.  Turn their contact information into your local authorities.

Tap tap tap...

Tap tap tap.....Is anyone out there?  Is anyone still listening?

I am officially the worst blogger around.  I hope I still have a few people out there waiting for new life to sprout up from an outdated blog.

Your waiting isn't in vein.  I'm still around and ready to add a few more samples for you.  I hope you enjoy them!

This summer was such a great time for our family.  One of our favorite memories was of our trip to see family out east.  Madison (shown to the left) is only 6 months older than our little girl (shown to the right).  They had such a great time playing.  It will be fun to see these two little cousins grow up together.  Aren't they adorable!

From Drab to Fab

6.24.2010

My last preparation for my big 'Wicked' weekend was to see my friend Nickole McNail at Benton Square today.  I needed to go from Drab to Fab!

It didn't start out too pretty...

...and I'm not a big fan of magic -be it good or bad magic- but I'm convinced that Nicole has some fairy dust mixed into some of her products!  The transformation she preformed today was as close to magical as I've ever been.

The final outcome was just what I needed to feel like a 'new woman' this weekend.  :o)  I'm sooooo excited.

Are you needing a little TLC?  Call Nickole!  She is such a sweetie and AMAZING at her profession.  You're guaranteed to receive the best massaging shampoo that you've ever had!  I could just melt when I get mine.  Make your appointment by calling her directly at 426-4439.  You'll be glad you did!

Nicole also hand designs exquisite jewelry available exclusively at her salon.  BEAUTIFUL!

WICKED Inspiration

6.14.2010

In a couple weeks, I'll be going to see a new musical call WICKED - the untold story of the witches of oz.  I'm sure to be drenched in artistic inspiration as we admire elaborate sets, costumes and an amazing theatrical performance.

I am SOOO excited.  I'm joining up with a couple close friends for a long overdue girls night out--Trini, my friend from St.Louis and Tami, my long time friend from Kentucky.  We're painting the town  red  uhhh, I mean green.  Before we get dressed in our evening gowns, my friend Trini organized an appointment for us at a SPA in St.Louis.  After getting our hair designed and petticures complete, we're heading out for an evening of tapa hopping.  Its not what you think!  Get your mind out of the gutter.  :o)  hehe   In Spain, instead of going somewhere with your friends for a full meal, you collect as a group and 'hop' around to different restaurants sharing a few appetizers at each location. This way your evening is focused more on socializing instead of the meal.  And the food......mmmmmm.....you get the best of several locations.  (Trini will love that.  Big menus are her favorite!)  Then the big finale!!!  My first experience at The Fox Theater watching one of the most popular musicals available.    What's not to love??  :o)
