MMMMMMaaaaaaaaaa

2.24.2007

I absolutely loved this little guy. He was so sweet.
At the end of the session, I began to tell him goodbye by putting my hand over my mouth and saying a big...mmmmmmaaaaaa to blow kisses at him. He later told his mom that I, Mrs. Kim, gave the best kisses. :o)

Keeping Them Involved

This was such a fun session. In the beginning, the boys were not quite sure they wanted their portraits taken. As you can tell, we had to be creative to get them involved in the session.
I love images that reflect a child's personality and the relationship he has with his parents.
It is obvious where the kids inherited their good looks. :o)
For those of you who don't know her, below (on the right) is my insurance agent—Kathy
McKay with State Farm Insurance.
We were so excited to have the opportunity to offer her family our services just as she has offered her services to us over the years.

Thank you again Kathy for the opportunity to capture these moments for you.
It was so nice to meet your daughter and her family.

Dad's Initiation

There is always an element of surprise in all newborn sessions. :o)
Is it just me or are all dads initiated into fatherhood by being tinkled on?
Before the session was over, this new dad was initiated several times.

Baby Boy

Congratulations to the new Mom and Dad!
You might recognize this couple from one of our previously posted maternity sessions. They recently gave birth to an ADORABLE baby boy!

One year old...

2.09.2007

Little Avery turned a year old! To celebrate such an exciting occasion I decided to post an image from each of her "watch me grow" sessions.

I hope you had a great birthday Avery! I look forward to seeing you again (soon) when your new little brother or sister arrives!

Another Cousin...

Here is yet another cousin to the little guys in the two previous posts. I loved getting to know all three families. Each of them chose one of our unique styles to fit the personality and age of their children. I love sessions like that!

This little blue-eyed girl was just as happy and as precious as they come. As you can tell, just like in her cousins' posts, I had difficulty narrowing down the selection of her images. We created adorable images of her using some of the new artwork techniques we are testing. Instead of creating a slideshow, I posted her images separately so you could see them clearly. Enjoy!

The first two images are part of a new product that we are getting ready to offer, Giclée Museum Wrapped Portraits. After going through the design process for the artwork, we will print the images using a giclée process. Seeing these portraits on the blog does no justice to these images—the final products are stunning. We will be posting more information on these new products in the future so keep checking in for more details.
The words in the background of the image above are French poetry.
Below you will see that we used an M in the design to reflect her name, which begins with that letter.
I love this image below. As a mommy of two older kids, I miss those times when I had a little one sitting at my feet.

Little M has some of the prettiest eyes...they just pop right out of the image.

la la la la la......

She was fascinated with her toes. In some of her other images from the session she showed off her flexibility by doubling over to chew on those cute little piggies.

Slideshow Crazy...

2.08.2007

I seem to be going a little slideshow crazy with my posts. There are so many good portraits from these sessions and I just can't bear to narrow them down. I have to share them all. :o)

This little guy is a cousin to the "sweet sweet baby" in the previous post. As you can tell...good looks run in the family. :o)

Sweet Sweet Baby

I love getting my newborns in for their sessions as close to birth as possible. During those first couple of weeks, they are so used to being in the womb that they bend, fold and wrinkle in the cutest ways. As you can see, this sweet little guy curled right up and snuggled in for his session with us.

Megan

I had so much fun with this family. This is Megan's senior year and they were so excited about their portrait experience.

It seemed when we first scheduled their session that one thing or another interrupted our plans. We had to reschedule three times just due to weather. I am so glad they stuck in there with us through it all. Her images were well worth the wait.

Images in this show have been compressed for easier viewing.
Some images may show pixelation.
Megan -- Thanks again for such a great time! I look forward to working with your family again at your brother's session.
